Space Shuttle Landing

Originally we weren't going to be given landing passes. Our program coordinators made phone calls and lots of arrangements, which was very kind. We were allowed to go to the official landing site, with the press. We were supposed to leave the hotel at 2:15 AM. I slept through the alarm and Mr. Lewis had to call to wake me up at 2:40 AM. We checked in with our NASA badges and waited to board the bus. Then we rode a bus to the landing site. We arrived just before the last space shuttle landed. While we were waiting, the space station passed overhead.
