Shuttle flame deflector

This has a nice view of the shuttle launch pad's flame deflector. It is next to the orange truck. It gives a nice perspective of how huge these rockets are. This is very similar to the Saturn V flame deflector in an earlier post. You may be wondering how I got so many nice pictures of the launch area-- Mr. Lewis from Hamady graciously gave me copies of all his pictures from today and other days. I couldn't get any good pictures of the launch area with my camera because I was on the other side of the bus.
