Apollo Launch Control

This is the Apollo Launch Control area. There was a simulation and video that ran to celebrate the launch to the moon. The video showed the history of the space program, including several American rockets that exploded. Then they did a simulation of the Saturn V rocket taking off. The control panel lights simulated a launch and they showed video footage and pictures. During the simulation, the ground shook and even the windows shook as the pretend rocket took off. The Saturn rocket is as tall as a 36 story building.
