Creating new inventions and parts

Here is the shop manager, explaining how he manufactures parts for engineers and scientists. He was very nice and had a good sense of humor. He showed us many devices including traditional equipment, CNC mills and lathes etc. He also showed us a machine that uses a wire to burn through metal -- it does incredibly intricate and complex cuts but it only goes one inch per hour.
