Just waiting now

I finished a lot of the android app. It still needs some final touches. We'll be staying at a nice hotel near the Kennedy Space Center. No partying though. We'll be working the whole time.

Going to Orlando

This last week I've been pretty busy. I found out that we'll be going to Orlando, which was definitely my #1 choice. Even though any of the NASA locations would have been great, Orlando seemed awesome. I spent a lot of time reading through the NASA Educators Online Network. I joined and then went to groups and joined the Simulation Aerospace Group. I went through pretty much everything that this project did last year, which took a lot of time, to get an idea of what they do, etc. I have been working on an android phone app for the program as well, which I started last week. Right now it's still in the preliminary phase, but I plan to use it in the program and have it ready to go by the end of May. Tim and I agreed we would work really hard during the whole 2 weeks -- no partying, going to Disney World, etc even though we have Saturday and Sunday off. We're definitely going to do our best to shine and take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

This week assignments will be made. I'll be assigned to a NASA facility in Orlando, Florida, Langley, Virginia, Houston, Texas or Ames, California.
